Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Restoration Technician / Labourer to join our team. This role involves performing hands-on restoration and cleanup work following property damage events, such as water, fire, or storm-related incidents. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn new skills in the restoration industry. This position offers an opportunity to develop expertise in construction, cleaning, and the use of various tools while contributing to helping clients restore their homes and businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with cleaning and debris removal at restoration sites using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment safely and effectively
  • Support the demolition and removal of damaged materials in affected areas
  • Prepare work sites for restoration activities, including setting up equipment and protective barriers
  • Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all team members
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to high standards
  • Maintain cleanliness of tools and work areas after each job
  • Assist with packing, moving materials, and other labor-intensive tasks as needed

Experience

  • Prior experience in cleaning, construction, or restoration is a plus but not required; training will be provided
  • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is advantageous
  • Previous work involving demolition or general labor in construction or restoration environments is beneficial
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn new skills are essential for success in this role

Required Skills:

  • Flexibility in schedule is key (early mornings, late nights, holidays, etc.) (On-call 24/7 rotation)
  • Able and willing to participate in 24/7 on call, rotation shift
  • Physically capable to life and move +50lbs
  • Valid Class 5, good abstract
  • Personal means of transportation

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
