We’re Hiring: Retail Sales Assistant
Glynns Home & Hardware are currently looking to hire a Sales Assistant to join our busy team in our Tuam Town Store.
As a Sales Assistant you will work at the till, maintain a clean store and well stocked shelves along with supporting the Store Manager in daily store operations.
We are hiring full time, permanent employees.
Your Role:
- Operating the cash register, processing transactions accurately, and handling payments.
- Assisting customers with their inquiries, providing product information, and offering assistance with purchases.
- Answering the phones when required.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the store, including stocking shelves and arranging displays.
- Adhering to store policies and procedures, including following safety protocols and maintaining a welcoming store environment.
Your Nature:
- A passion for retail and excellent customer service skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong aspiration to put in effort and advance to higher positions within the company.
- Flexibility to work a Monday to Saturday (5 day) Rota
- Previous experience in a sales or retail environment (preferred but not essential).
Please note: This job is not suitable for secondary level students or those looking for summer work only.
Pay: From €28,696.00 per year
