Position Summary

We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Retail Clerk to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will assist customers with product selection, prepare and package orders, maintain attractive product displays, and support daily store operations.

The successful candidate will help ensure high standards of customer service, food safety, product quality, and store cleanliness while contributing to a positive and efficient team environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers and thrives in a fast-paced retail setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable manner
• Provide accurate information regarding seafood products, including preparation, storage, and handling
• Display, rotate, and replenish seafood products, ensuring freshness, quality, and visual appeal
• Prepare, package, and label customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately
• Assist with inventory monitoring and stock management activities
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation duties to maintain food safety standards
• Follow company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet sales and customer service goals
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Retail Supervisor

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequent bending, crouching, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Exposure to cold storage and wet environments
• Handling seafood products, including potential allergens
• Flexibility to work variable shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
