Position Description

We’re looking for a Retail Operations Associate / Visual Merchandiser (ROA / VM) who is operationally strong, creatively driven, and passionate about delivering an elevated in-store experience. This role combines operational execution with visual merchandising excellence to support the successful opening and ongoing operations of our Ottawa location.

You are someone who thrives on organization, efficiency, and presentation while helping create a seamless and inspiring shopping environment for both guests and team members. You work closely with Store Leadership and Visual Merchandising teams to execute store standards, maintain product flow, and bring The Latest Scoop brand to life through visual storytelling and operational excellence.

As an ROA / VM, you will:

· Execute daily operational and merchandising tasks with efficiency and attention to detail.
· Ensure timely movement of merchandise from delivery to sales floor while maintaining presentation standards.
· Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient backroom environment.
· Create and execute visually compelling displays, mannequins, windows, and merchandising moments aligned with TLS standards.
· Support weekly floor sets, seasonal launches, promotional events, and store flips.
· Replenish product and maintain sales floor standards throughout the day.
· Collaborate with Store Leadership and team members to support store priorities and guest experience.
· Assist with signage, fixtures, display maintenance, and overall store presentation.
· Support operational systems and processes that allow the store to function effectively.
· Adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs during high-volume periods and new store opening phases.

Qualifications & Requirements

· 1–2+ years of retail operations, merchandising, or visual merchandising experience preferred.
· Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
· Creative eye for visual merchandising, styling, and presentation.
· Detail-oriented with strong operational execution skills.
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
· Ability to lift, move merchandise, climb ladders, and support physical merchandising tasks.
· Comfortable using basic tools for merchandising setup and minor maintenance tasks.
· Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight shifts.
· Technology savvy and comfortable using POS systems and operational tools.
· Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.
· High level of integrity and care in product handling and presentation standards.

Pay: $18.50-$25.35 per hour
