Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced, customer-focused Retail Parts Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous parts sales experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to identify, source, and sell parts for tractors, lawn equipment, utility vehicles, and outdoor power equipment. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist retail and commercial customers in identifying and purchasing the correct replacement parts and accessories.
• Utilize electronic parts catalogs and manufacturer resources to accurately research and locate parts.
• Process customer transactions using the dealership's point-of-sale and inventory management systems.
• Answer customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
• Merchandise showroom displays and maintain a clean, organized parts department.
• Promote additional products, accessories, and maintenance items that benefit customers.
• Handle customer returns, warranties, and special-order parts according to company policies.
• Meet individual and departmental sales and customer satisfaction goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of retail or dealership parts sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of agricultural equipment, lawn and garden equipment, utility vehicles, or outdoor power equipment is highly desirable.
• Experience with manufacturer parts lookup systems.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with point-of-sale systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting.
• Ability to work in varying warehouse and retail conditions.
