We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our busy department store. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment, have excellent communication skills, and are passionate about delivering outstanding customer service, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Help customers find products and provide accurate product information.
• Process cash, card, and other payments accurately using the till system.
• Replenish stock and ensure shelves and displays are well presented.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised sales floor.
• Handle customer enquiries, returns, and complaints professionally.
• Promote store offers, promotions, and loyalty programmes.
• Work as part of a team to achieve sales targets and deliver an excellent shopping experience.
• Follow company policies, including health and safety procedures.
• Willing to learn and up skill in all departments if required.

Skills and Experience

• Previous retail or customer service experience is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
• Reliable, flexible, and willing to learn.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic numeracy and confidence using a till or point-of-sale system.
