Fletchers Portarlington are looking for a Retail Sale Assistant.
The successful candidate will be well presented, sales driven, customer orientated person with excellent work ethic who thrives in a fast-paced environment interacting with customers to secure sales and build on customer relations.
Role responsibilities:
- Provide information on our products to customers and the availability of stock and any special promotions
- Operate tills and handle financial transactions – Cash handling
- Merchandise and replenish stock as directed
- Ensure all goods/promotions / special offers are priced correctly
- Assist with deliveries and stock handling
- Seek sales in all departments when the opportunity arises however will be mainly focused on DIY, Hardware, Paint, Garden & Homewares.
The ideal candidate will:
· Be highly motivated with good work ethic
· Possess excellent communication skills
· Provide exceptional levels of customer service
. Be sales driven, strong interpersonal skills who actively seeks to address customers needs to ensure excellent customer experience. Confidently assist customers with their choices and advise, as necessary.
. Have strong time management and organisational skills essential to manage customers’ requirements over the phone along with dealing with a busy shop floor.
. Have the ability to work in a close knit team yet use your experience to work on your own initiative.
· Be able to work Saturdays 9-5
. Have Good numeracy and English literacy skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From €30,000.00 per year
