Permanent Senior Sales Associate - Shoe Suite Cork City - 40-Hour Contract

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Senior Sales Associate to join our team at Shoe Suite in Cork City. This is a permanent, full-time position. The ideal candidate should be available for mid-week shifts and some weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Provide accurate information about product features, pricing, and after-sales services.
• Address customer inquiries about specific products and services.
• Assist customers in making purchasing decisions by comparing prices and features.
• Engage in cross-selling and upselling to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Ensure display racks are fully stocked and manage product returns.
• Deal with the receipt of stock from suppliers, process it through the system, and put it away in the appropriate locations.
• Collaborate with the Retail Sales Representatives team to maintain high customer service standards, particularly during peak hours.
• Inform customers about special promotions and discounts.
• Relay customer feedback to the Store Manager.
• Stay updated on new products and services.
• Participate in hoovering, dusting, and general cleaning duties alongside the rest of the team to maintain a clean and welcoming store environment.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of the retail sales process and consumer behavior.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-centric mindset.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including mid-week and occasional weekends.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Familiarity with inventory stocking procedures.
• A positive attitude with a commitment to resolving customer issues promptly.
• Willingness to assist with store cleaning and maintenance tasks as part of the team.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: €13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
