The JL’s Group is a family of four Home Hardware locations. Three locations in Guelph and our newest location in Stayner. JL’s caters to a wide range of clients from do-it-yourself customers to custom home builders. What makes us different from other home improvement retailers is our people. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a skilled team, some of whom have been integral members of our organization for many years. We are leaders in the Guelph market in many categories. We are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic people with a keen interest in customer service.
Job Description
- Determine customer’s needs by asking open-ended questions.
- Communicate product knowledge to the customer as appropriate.
- Assist customers in locating and comparing merchandise.
- Assist customers with finding all items needed to complete their project.
- Process special orders for non-stock or out of stock items.
- Work on additional duties and assignments as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Able to work flexible hours and weekends.
- Customer service oriented.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work co-operatively in a team atmosphere.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with management, employees, and delivery personnel.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Willingness to learn.
- Retail, sales or customer service experience is an asset.
- Construction or home renovation knowledge is an asset.
Pay: $17.60-$21.00 per hour
