Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative & friendly Part Time Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Franklin & Rose. We are an experience based women's retail store, specializing in quilted accessories, charm jewelry and apparel.
In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. You will assist in maintaining the store's appearance, managing inventory, assembling and welding charm necklaces, cash handling, checkout and more.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions.
- Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure a visually appealing store layout.
- Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products and services.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to enhance store operations.
- Uphold high standards of customer service, including phone etiquette for customer calls.
- Build and weld charm jewelry for customers
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also taking initiative as needed.
- Job is open to college students as well, but must have summer and weekend availability
