Position Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Store Associate to join our seasonal Market Mall team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced retail setting, enjoys connecting with people, and is passionate about delivering an exceptional shopping experience. You’ll help customers find products they love while maintaining a welcoming, organized, and high-energy store environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service by engaging with shoppers and providing product knowledge.
• Assist customers in finding the right fit and styles to suit their needs.
• Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately using the POS system.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the store remains clean and organized.
• Support with restocking, inventory management, and loss prevention procedures.
• Help achieve and exceed individual and team sales goals.
• Collaborate with team members to create a fun, inclusive, and positive atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Customer Service Experience: 1 year in a retail or customer-facing role required.
• Cash handling experience required; experience with Shopify POS system preferred.
• Experience in troubleshooting technology (POS, Mac, iOS, printers) is an asset.
• Proven experience in sales, preferably in markets, trade shows, retail, or similar environments.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage customers and close sales.
• Self-motivated and results-driven, comfortable working independently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long hours.
• Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be over 18 years old.
