SPAR Clancy Quay, Dublin 8 requires an experienced convenience store manager.

Salary €42,000 - €50,000 + Performance bonus

STORE MANAGEMENT

• Manage the activities of the team on a daily basis
• Ensure high quality and consistent customer service is provided at all times
• To delegate and communicate effectively the team
• To supervise the effective induction and training of all employees

OPERATIONS

• Ensure store is merchandised in a customer focused and competitive manner ensuring compliance with company procedures and guidelines
• Ensure housekeeping in the store is maintained at an optimum level
• Co-ordinate in-store sales and promotions
• To communicate with retail sales team regarding in store sales and promotions
• To ensure the cash handling policy is adhered to
• To react to local market trends and competition in an appropriate manner
• To pro-actively take necessary action in store improvements following customer complaints

STOCK MANAGEMENT

• Completion of stock controls on high risk products
• To minimise stock loss through wastage, damages and theft
• Ensure food management and waste systems are adhered to by retail sales team

LEGISLATION & SECURITY

• Management of staff ensuring compliance with labour law, HACCP, Health & Safety and Consumer Legislation
• To ensure potential hazards in the store are identified and reduced or where possible removed/eliminated
• Ensuring that Health & Safety checks are conducted and actioned accordingly

GENERAL

• To know and understand company policies and procedures and ensure they are implemented effectively by retail sales team
• To achieve targets as agreed with operations manager
• Escalate issues to operations manager as appropriate
• To communicate with the operations manager on an on-going basis
• To undertake other additional duties as may be assigned by the operations manager

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €42,000.00-€50,000.00 per year
