Heritage Shops is hiring an enthusiastic Retail Store Manager that has a passion for Newfoundland heritage for our store located in the St. John's International Airport - Departures Lounge.

The function of the Store Manager is to oversee the day-to-day operations of their store. They are responsible for store success, particularly by meeting sales goals, and ensuring quality customer service.

What you do:

• Promote the products of our provinces incredible artists and makers
• Provide high levels of customer satisfaction
• Work with senior management to develop growth strategies
• Coach team member performance to maintain high standards of customer service and product knowledge
• Adhere to and ensure that all team members comply to policies and procedures
• Product merchandising consistent with store standards
• Manage budgets and schedules

Our ideal Candidate:

• Passionate about Newfoundland heritage, artists and makers
• Sales oriented and strong customer service skills
• Retail sales experience
• Retail sales management or supervisor role experience minimum of 2 years
• Comfortability with a high volume and fast pace environment
• Familiarity with merchandising
• Proficiency in English, French or second language not required but is appreciated
• Ability to work early mornings (4:00am), evenings and holidays
• Have own reliable transportation to St. John's International Airport
