The role: Dual site supervisor for x2 John Lewis concessions: Sloane Square and Oxford Street

• Sales & Reporting: overseeing the trading of x2 concessions, hitting targets, motivating the team, reporting in trading meetings what is selling, what isn’t. Filling in the EOD and EOW reports, attending company wide weekly trading meetings. Own and oversee the visual merchandising of rails, shelves and accessories. Customer acquisition: acquiring sellers and buyers.
• Operations: Oversee the day-to-day runnings of the shop floor, leaving the manager to take on more strategic tasks. Assign daily tasks to the Store Associates. Take a data driven approach to the running of the store and communicates seamlessly between OPs, Ecom, Marketing & Shop floor. cleaning, steaming, ordering of supplies
• HR: Weekly 1:1’s. Goal setting, performance reviews. Hiring, training and onboarding. Absence monitoring, adherence to health and safety policies. Shares responsibility of team morale with the Store Manager, ensuring a good working environment and a hard-working, happy team

Reporting to: Store Manager

Requirements:

• At least 2 years experience in luxury or fast paced fashion retail environment
• Bubbly, warm and confident holding and making conversations
• A basic understanding of current trends and luxury brands
• A good understanding of Excel
• Trading mentality, very commercial
• A nurturing person who can train, coach and mentor junior members to succeed
• Excellent communicator throughout the entire business
• Excellent problem solver
• Sees opportunities for growth and suggests new and improved ways of doing things
• Understands the importance of data and uses this to impact sales
• Team player, with good level of grit and determination
• A desire to remain and grow in the company
• Excellent multi tasker - serving on shop floor whilst doing other tasks
• Efficient, organised with impeccable attention to detail

Salary

Salary starting from £27k + commission
