Role overview
We are seeking an RF Engineer to join our Radar Payload Team, where you will play a key role in developing and optimizing the critical RF components within our satellite radar hardware. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to deepen your understanding of the entire radar chain and contribute to exciting projects.
You'll be part of an innovative team, contributing to the high performance and reliability of our radar systems from concept through to in-orbit operation.
What You'll Do:
- Design, develop, and test RF circuits and subsystems for satellite radar applications, with a focus on relevant frequencies, ideally including X-band or higher.
- Contribute to the development and optimization of components across the radar chain, including transmitters, receivers, and antenna interfaces.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electronics engineers, mechanical engineers, and system architects, to integrate RF solutions.
- Conduct RF characterization and testing of components and subsystems using specialized equipment.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving RF-related issues.
- Document designs, test procedures, and results.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as an RF Engineer, ideally with some exposure to RADAR systems.
- Experience with X-band or similar high-frequency RF design and development is highly desirable.
- Basic understanding of the radar chain (e.g., Tx, Rx, Antenna, RF front-end).
- Familiarity with RF simulation tools (e.g., ADS, CST, HFSS) and RF test equipment (e.g., VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators).
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow in the field of space RF engineering.
- Experience in the aerospace or military industry is a plus.
