Rfp Specialist
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:

In support of the Business Development team, the RFP Specialist leads the end-to-end process of responding to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs for medical malpractice insurance products and services. This position requires a deep understanding of the medical malpractice insurance industry, and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
  • RFP Management: Lead the end-to-end process of responding to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs for medical malpractice insurance products and services.
  • Content Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and create compelling, accurate, and detailed responses to RFP inquiries.
  • Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and competitive landscapes to ensure our responses are aligned with market expectations.
  • Customization: Tailor standard RFP content to meet the specific needs and requirements of potential clients, showcasing our company's unique value proposition.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of RFP responses to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with guidelines.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders, including underwriters, actuaries, and legal teams, to gather the necessary information for RFP responses.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners to enhance collaboration and improve the overall quality of our proposals.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business, finance, insurance, etc.).
  • Proven experience in RFP management, preferably within the medical malpractice insurance sector.
  • Strong understanding of medical malpractice insurance products, regulations, and industry dynamics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear and concise responses.
  • Comfortable utilizing AI tools and technologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the RFP management process.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, taking ownership of the RFP process.
  • Proficient in using collaboration tools, project management software, Salesforce, Qlik, design software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
