Position: Rigger/assembly personnel

Job Type: Full Time

Pay: $15.00-$25.00, pay is based on quality of experience and work history

Benefits: Paid Holidays (all major holidays) 40 hours PTO after the first year of successful work completed. Up to 32 hours of accrued sick pay per year.

About Us: Turner Boatworks is a medium sized custom boat manufacturer located in Palacios, TX. We specialize in the manufacturing of high quality performance fishing boats.

Job Description:

Perform a variety of functions in the assembly, rigging and completion of high-performance custom fishing boats. Experience with Mercury Marine products is a major asset.

Duties:

- Obtain, review and follow instructions for rigging and assembly of each custom boat.

- Perform precision cutting and drilling operations.

- Use various adhesives and sealants to create water tight seals.

- Assemble and install finished parts and components including deck to hull, windshields, trim moldings, gas tanks, batteries, plumbing systems, wiring systems, steering and control components, engine mounting, etc.

- In assembly and rigging operations, use of variety of equipment and materials such as hand tools, screw guns, drills, knives, saws, hoists, jigs, fixtures and fasteners.

- Knowledge of DC electrical systems preferred

- Responsible for insuring quality of rigging and assembly operations performed.

- Works well with other co workers.

- Adheres to safety policies and practices.

- Punctuality and attendance is mandatory .

- All other duties are assigned
