Role Overview

Irish Building Supply are seeking to hire a C Licence/HGV Rigid Truck Driver for its builders providers & DIY store in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin.

If you have HIAB experience and are seeking a regular hours Mon to Fri job, then this could be the right job for you. The working hours are 7.15am to 4.15pm Monday to Friday with a total break of 1 hour each day, of which 30 mins is paid. The job starts and finishes in the centre of Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin. The DART train and several bus routes are nearby.

This is a multi-drop role, driving a truck with HIAB. You will be delivering building materials to IBS' customers in the greater Dublin area. HIAB crane experience is strongly desired.

Irish Building Supply is a family run independent builders merchants for over 55 years. Our team supply builders, tradesmen, self-builders and D.I.Y enthusiasts. The company has two stores and warehouses - Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin and Kilcoole, Co. Wicklow.

Role and Responsibilities

· Experience in driving rigid trucks (ideally minimum of 2 years experience) & must be aged over 25 (for insurance reasons)

· Full C driving licence with no penalty points

· Valid CPC Card

· A valid safe pass and HIAB is preferable but not essential

· Experience in multi-drop operations preferred

· Self-motivated with good communication skills including fluent english

· A good knowledge of construction and building materials is preferable

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €44,000.00 per year
