The Corporation of the City of North Bay (“the City”) is accepting applications for the position of Rink Attendant. Under the direction of an Arena Supervisor, the Rink Attendant will provide support to the Arena Maintenance Persons in the performance of their duties.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in keeping the dressing rooms cleaned after ice rentals
- Assist with floods by pushing the nets out of the way of the ice resurfacer
- Assist with cleaning the facilities at the end of the night
- Assist with conversions to set-up for different events
- Assist set-ups for various events
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Experience in customer service
- The ability to lift heavy objects
- Working knowledge of arena operations will be considered an asset
- General maintenance and problem solving skills
- Ability to work various hours
- Ability to skate will be considered an asset
- Custodial experience preferred
