Paynovate is growing. To ensure that our financial institution operates within regulatory compliance and maintains its financial stability, we are expanding our Legal & Campliance team and hiring a Risk & Compliance Manager. The Risk & Compliance Manager will be responsible for overseeing risk management operations, including identifying all potential risks, assessing their impact, and implementing strategies to mitigate these risks.

Your mission:

• As guardian of our risk management strategy, you develop and implement risk management policies and procedures to identify, assess, and mitigate financial, operational, legal, and compliance risks.
• For this purpose, you conduct regular risk assessments and audits both to evaluate the institution's compliance with laws, regulations, and internal risk policies. and to identify potential threats to the financial stability of the institution. You also stay updated with new regulations and industry best practices to ensure the institution's risk management policies remain current and effective.
• You are accountable for providing management and relevant stakeholders an overview of our current risk situation, meaning you monitor and report on key risk indicators (KRIs) , you prepare and present detailed reports on risk exposure, risk management activities, and recommendations for improving the institution's risk profile.
• You ensure staff sensibilization to the subject of risk. You provide training and guidance on risk management principles and practices, on risk awareness and mitigation strategies, and you facilitate risk management meetings and workshops to discuss and address risk-related issues. You collaborate with different departments to establish risk management protocols and ensure they are integrated into the organizational processes.

• You hold at least a bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, BA or related field. Your understanding of financial markets, instruments and banking operations makes you confident in working in a complex and regulated financial sector.
• You are passionate about risk assessment and management. Your minimum of 3 years experience in risk management within a financial institution have provided you with the right methodology and tools to work confidently and efficiently on the topic.
• Certifications with GARP and/or PRMIA are strong added values
• You are a regulatory standards and compliance requirements expert when it comes to the financial industry. You have experience with both internal and external audits.
• You are able to demonstrate a proactive approach to enterprise risk management. Your leadership skills allow you to drive risk management practices across the organization.
• Excellent communicator and team worker are words that describe you best. You are able to collaborate with and communicate risk findings to non-specialist stakeholders.
• You are born to solve problems with your sharp analytical skills and manage independently multiple tasks and projects.
• English is like a second language to you. You are at ease using either French or Dutch to communicate within the team.
• You are at ease working in an international environment and love interacting with other cultures.
