RN - Emergency room (rotating shift)
Location - Newburyport, MA
Weekly Gross - $2888
Duration - 13 weeks, 36hrs/week
Duties
- Assess and triage patients presenting to the Emergency Room based on severity of condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
- Provide emergency care for patients of all ages, including toddlers and individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Document patient care accurately in electronic health records systems such as Epic and Athenahealth.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and assist in procedures, including botulinum toxin treatment when applicable.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment options.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Experience
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license MA state
- Registered Nurse, Rotating (7a-7:30p or 11a-11:30p) (We will not schedule opposite shifts back-to-back.)- 36 hrs./week weekend, and holiday rotation.
- Two years' experience in Emergency Room.
- MA RN and
- (AHA) BCLS
- ACLS
- TNCC
- PALS
- Facility is not accepting local candidates.
- COVID Vaccines + Booster required at time of submission.
Job Types: Travel nursing, Contract
Pay: $2,800.00 - $2,888.00 per week
