Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in roofing installation, repair, and maintenance. This role requires a strong understanding of various roofing materials and techniques, as well as the ability to work effectively in diverse weather conditions. The Roofer will be responsible for ensuring that roofs are structurally sound and meet safety standards.

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain various types of roofing systems including shingles, metal, and flat roofs.
• Utilize hand tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and fastening roofing materials.
• Conduct inspections to assess the condition of roofs and identify necessary repairs.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals such as carpenters and handymen on job sites.
• Lift heavy materials and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by disposing of debris and unused materials properly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Roofer or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to roofing tasks.
• Strong knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow technical specifications accurately.
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights for extended periods.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• A valid driver's license may be required for travel to job sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
