Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures, pipes, and systems in accordance with local codes and regulations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
• Perform routine inspections on plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems.
• Assemble and install valves, fittings, appliances, and fixtures using hand tools.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters and HVAC technicians to complete projects efficiently.
• Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
• Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role within the construction or maintenance person industries.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to plumbing tasks.
• Knowledge of construction plumbing techniques and local building codes.
• Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Commercial driving experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• A valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $31.00 - $33.84 per hour
