Why You Will Be Excited About This Role

Step into a key leadership role with Hi-Point Roofing, overseeing metal roofing on quality new builds. You’ll drive safety, accuracy, and compliance, with a strong “do it once, do it right” mindset—working with a tight-knit team that values getting the job done properly, every time.

About Us

Hi-Point Roofing is part of Australia’s leading construction, property and finance company known as the ABN Group. The group employs 1,800 people, 2,500 independent construction contractors and more apprentices than any other builder in Australia. Hi-Point Roofing is a well-established customer focussed business that takes pride in exceeding their customer expectations on quality, reliability, and customer service. As part of our dynamic team, you’ll work in an environment where initiative is rewarded, and professional growth is actively supported.

What You Will Be Working On

Reporting to the Construction Manager, you’ll play a critical role in coordinating teams, materials, and site activity to keep roofing projects moving efficiently. Your focus will be on planning, communication, and keeping quality high.

  • Plan and allocate materials through accurate site measurements and job prep
  • Coordinate schedules and resolve site issues before they impact timelines
  • Lead regular toolbox meetings and ensure clear communication across teams
  • Review trade and supplier performance, escalating any concerns to management
  • Conduct maintenance inspections and ensure consistent reporting to operations
  • Track site budgets and proactively manage any cost-related risks

Who Will Be Successful

You’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment, with a sharp eye for detail and a steady hand when juggling multiple priorities. You take ownership of your work, communicate clearly, and can lead by example onsite. Whether it’s solving issues on the fly, reading plans, or motivating a team, you know how to get things done efficiently and to standard.

You’ll stand out if you have:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in residential construction or a relevant trade qualification
  • Strong communication and site coordination skills
  • Proven ability to interpret working drawings and specifications
  • Solid understanding of Australian Standards and building regulations
  • A proactive mindset with excellent time management
  • The ability to build strong working relationships with trades, suppliers, and site teams

What We’ll Provide

Here, you'll find a collaborative work environment where you can truly thrive and work alongside a high-performing team driven to be better.

  • Team focus: Enjoy regular social activities, work with a fantastic team and be supported by approachable leaders with a clear and aligned vision
  • Career growth: Whether you want to deepen your expertise or explore new areas, we’ll support your development
  • Office perks: Enjoy a bright, modern office with plenty of spaces to collaborate (and relax when you need to)
  • Competitive salary and benefits: We offer a great compensation package and additional perks to make your time with us even more rewarding
  • Wellness focus: We provide dedicated programs to nurture your wellbeing and support your goals including our Employee Assistance Program
  • Parental leave: Additional paid parental leave for both primary and non-primary carers
