What are WE looking for?

GBH is looking for a HOUSEKEEPING /ROOM ATTENDANT to join their team in a FULL-TIME / PART-TIME YEAR-ROUND position. If you have past housekeeping or hospitality experience and are interested in joining a growing, family run local business, would love to hear from you!

What will YOU be doing?

• Perform essential duties of the daily housekeeping services in assigned units and common areas, striving to exceed standards and meet deadlines
• Cleaning of guest rooms including Bathrooms, Kitchens, Living Rooms and Bedrooms
• Ensure all room / kitchen inventory is accounted for and replaced/reported
• Deep Cleaning units seasonally including assisting with moving furniture, high dusting and full clean of the unit.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean/organized and stocked work environment
• Manage guests' concerns and take action to resolve problems - inform leadership when required.
• Assist in other areas of the hotel such as laundry and public areas

Who are YOU?

• Physically fit and able to lift (up to 35 pounds), bend, kneel and reach upwards
• Team Orientated
• Proven ability to work under tight time demands
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude at work
• Guest Service and / or previous housekeeping experience an asset
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
