Alstom have an exciting opportunity available for a Rotables Officer to join or Supply Chain Team, this role will support the RNA Alliance project, Based in Melbourne CBD, part-time (daily, half days, 20h/week)

You will be required to have flexibility and mobility in the workplace, working part time as the key contact for defects across the West Melbourne Maintenance facility while leading meetings, communicating on progress, defects and more.

Apply your stakeholder management expertise within the Alliance and project, attending weekly meetings, managing receipts for goods issued and received across SAP databas. You will work closely with the Alliance warehouse, providing support when required, manage and oversee inventory. You’ll take care of managing the repair process flow, collaborate with the Quality team to prioritize incoming inspection and quality issues.


We’ll look to you for

  • Convert broken stock into Repair / Warranty Orders and launch them on time to suppliers in SAP system
  • Daily repair orders through close exchanges with suppliers to provide visibility on materials availability for task sequences to the project
  • Alert the project team about issues impacting plan execution (missing parts, quality issues, production stoppage, technical data)
  • Analyze deviations with operations and Quality, and propose short term recovery actions in order to catch-up the committed plan
  • Provide the operations team with priorities & visibility to the logistics team in order to plan warehouse operations
  • Contribute to the footprint updates needs with Logistics methods, manage and organise shipments/collections with our designated freight forwarders (international and local transport)
  • Ensure all Warranty items and repeat repairs have a NCR raised in the Quality Portal with SQ
  • Manage and process the invoices in our basware database
  • Respect EHS rules and involved in SOV (safety observation visits)

  • Technician education degree (Logistics, Supply Chain)
  • Understanding of software SAP
  • Basware database
  • Full Driving license
