Wolt is seeking exceptional talent to join our newly launched Rotational Strategy & Operations (S&O) program, designed to accelerate your growth into pivotal S&O roles across Wolt’s functions and countries. This full-time, 24-month program offers the opportunity to work across four different teams within our Strategy & Operations organization. It’s built to equip you with the skills, experience, and network to become a successful business leader at Wolt. Providing you've excelled in the program, you'll graduate into a Senior Manager, Strategy & Operations role.

The role is based in Helsinki, Finland and will start in March-April 2025.

Our Rotational Strategy & Operations program is designed to grow the next generation of leaders by exposing them to different parts of our business and a variety of challenges, while getting direct mentorship from our senior operators and business leaders.

During the 24 months, you’ll rotate in key S&O roles within our organization and work on critical projects that shape how we grow and operate. These could include taking our approach to logistics optimization to the next level, evaluating M&A opportunities, turning new business ideas into pilots and successful pilots into scalable launches, driving subscription growth via tailored partnerships and pricing strategies, and helping shape the future of our new verticals - groceries, pet shops, pharmacies and beyond. Each rotation will give you new perspectives on how Wolt grows and scales. This is a high-impact role that sets you up for a career in one of the most exciting functions in a modern tech company.

During the program, we will provide you with extensive support to ensure you have everything you need to grow into a fully-fledged S&O professional. You will be assigned a senior mentor from the team to work closely with and learn from. Joining our program means entering a small and active community that takes ownership beyond the obvious, does common things uncommonly well, thinks big but stays humble, and treats others kindly.

What you’ll be doing

Participants drive projects end-to-end and take ownership of business opportunities we are going after from the first day onwards. You’ll own your part from conceptualizing to successful implementation and optimization.

Day-to-day in this role you’ll:
Own and drive key strategic and operational projects from idea to execution
Analyze data to drive decision-making, prioritization and performance tracking
Collaborate with teams across functions and markets to identify challenges and implement solutions
Communicate your insights and vision to leadership
Contribute new ideas and help shape how we work smarter across teams and markets
Receive extensive support, feedback and mentoring from the Wolt community to help you learn and grow in your role

After the program, participants will get a dedicated S&O role of ownership in one of the teams, or get the opportunity to further explore other business functions within Wolt.

Our humble expectations

In an ideal world, you'd have 3-5 years of professional experience, and bring a mixture of strategic thinking and operational savviness with the willingness to take full ownership of your scope. Prior experience in Strategy & Operations isn’t required, but it does helps to have a strong analytical mindset and a keen interest in what it takes to run a successful business.

Approximately 3-5 years of professional experience in a full-time role
You have previous experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably from startups, scaleups, or top-tier management consulting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - you can structure problems, test hypotheses, and draw insights from data
You are proactive, curious, and thrive in fast-changing, ambiguous environments
You take ownership beyond the obvious and get energy and excitement from building and seeing results in action
You lead teams effectively through clarity and are used to helping others achieve their goals
Experience with SQL, Python, R, or similar tools is a plus
