Join our dynamic team as a Route Delivery Driver to deliver Culligan products and services and become a vital link in delivering exceptional service to our customers. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely navigating your designated route, loading and unloading goods, and ensuring timely deliveries to our customers. $19.00 per hour base plus commissions

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle along assigned delivery routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Load, secure, and unload products using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary, ensuring items are handled with care.
• Deliver Culligan products and services (salt, water, filters, chemicals etc.) directly to customers’ locations, providing friendly and professional customer service at each stop.
• Perform 10 point inspections on customers equipment
• Offer products and services to current and new customers and get compensated through commissions
• Verify delivery details, obtain signatures when required, and accurately document all deliveries in company systems.
• Manage the load-in and load-out process efficiently, ensuring all items are accounted for and properly secured for transit.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to maintain safety standards; report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Navigate using route maps or GPS devices to optimize delivery efficiency and meet scheduled timeframes.
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management or moving stock when not on the road, including heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that arise during routes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving in a commercial setting.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles is highly desirable.
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients at each delivery point.
• Experience with warehouse operations, including moving heavy items using forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Ability to lift heavy loads repeatedly and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading cargo safely.
• Knowledge of driving safety protocols, traffic laws, and route planning tools or GPS systems.
• Prior experience operating equipment such as forklifts is a plus but not required; training can be provided.
