Ice Cream Manufacturer and Distributor is seeking a Delivery Only Driver at our Sacramento Depot . Delivery Driver will be responsible for covering routes servicing assigned accounts within a specific geographic region within Sacramento.
Some of the major duties and responsibilities include:
- Deliver ice cream to assigned accounts via hand truck/cart
- Receive, check and load product on assigned vehicle
- Merchandise products, including rotating and facing products, and providing point of sale materials
- Use mobile app to generate customer delivery invoice
- Defrost freezers as needed
- Complete physical inventory on a monthly basis
- Load, unload, sell, deliver, and merchandise all product
- Drive vehicle with 20,000lb GVW in all weather conditions
- Process all required paperwork at end of day
- Ability to professionally represent Wonder Ice Cream on a daily basis
Applicants must have some of the following minimum requirements:
- Reliable and willingness to give superior customer service
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs on consistent basis
- Must have valid Driver’s License with NO MORE THAN 1 VIOLATION and NO DUIs
- Background and Drug Test are required
- Diploma or GED is required
Wonder Ice Cream is a family-owned business, located in Santa Clara, CA. Presently, the Company has 80 employees. We distribute high quality ice cream products, such as Ben & Jerry's, Breyers, Popsicle, to C-Stores, Supermarkets, Restaurants, Hotels, Institutions, and Specialty Stores throughout Northern California.
Pay: $23.50 per hour
