Key Responsibilities

• Regulatory Compliance:Ensure all BARC operations comply with AERB regulations and guidelines.
• Radiation Monitoring:Conduct regular measurements and analysis of radiation levels in controlled and supervised areas.
• Safe Work Procedures:Implement and oversee safe working procedures for radiation equipment and radioactive materials.
• Documentation & Authorization:Prepare and submit documentation to the AERB for facility design, safety factors, and necessary permissions/authorizations.
• Emergency Preparedness:Develop and implement procedures for emergencies involving radioactive materials.
• Training:Provide training to workers on safe handling of radioactive materials and radiation protection.
• Waste Management:Oversee the proper collection, storage, and disposal of radioactive waste.
• Facility Safety:Ensure the proper functioning and safety of radiation facilities, including interlock systems and warning signs.
• Record Keeping:Maintain comprehensive records of radiation monitoring, worker exposure, and other safety-related activities.
• Liaison with Regulators:Act as the primary point of contact with the AERB, reporting incidents and ensuring compliance with license conditions.

Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

License/Certification:

• BARC Certified Level 2 (Required)
• Radiation Safety Officer Certificate (Preferred)
