We are seeking a SaaS Project and Implementation Specialist to lead customer onboarding, ensure seamless deployment of our technology, coordinate feedback between clients and developers, and support continuous improvement based on real-world usage.
Role Summary
As a SaaS Project and Implementation Specialist, you will act as the critical liaison between our customers, our product development team, and internal stakeholders. You will lead onboarding and implementation for new clients, manage post-deployment feedback and issues (including system bugs and usage gaps), and ensure client success in deploying and using the platform’s key modules:
- Waste Diversion Tracking Module
- Training & Education Platform
- Waste Audit & Reporting Tools
- Customer-Facing Dashboards & Portals
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Implementation & Onboarding
- Lead end-to-end onboarding of new customers, including setup, training, and configuration.
- Deliver clear documentation, training sessions, and go-live support tailored to each client’s needs
- Configure platform modules to align with client waste streams, goals, and data requirements.
Project Coordination
- Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables during implementation phases.
- Maintain communication with internal teams (development, product, support) and external client stakeholders.
- Track project progress using tools like Asana, Jira, or similar platforms.
Feedback & System Improvement
- Gather structured and unstructured feedback from clients during and after implementation.
- Report bugs, feature requests, and usability concerns to product and engineering teams.
- Prioritize reported issues and assist in validating bug resolutions and feature rollouts.
Customer Liaison & Support
- Act as the voice of the customer internally and ensure platform improvements align with user experience and sustainability goals.
- Monitor adoption and performance post-implementation; offer insights to help optimize platform usage
Product Knowledge & Enablement
- Become an internal subject matter expert on all modules of the platform.
- Create and update support documentation, onboarding guides, and training resources.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in SaaS project implementation, customer success, or product liaison roles.
- Strong project management skills; PMP or Agile certification is a plus.
- Experience in cleantech, ESG, waste management, or sustainability tech environments is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with platforms that track environmental performance, KPIs, or resource diversion data.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience using Rutl, Asana, Confluence, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with environmental compliance standards, waste audit protocols, or EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) frameworks is a benefit
- Data literacy: ability to interpret charts, dashboards, and KPI metrics.
- Experience delivering virtual or onsite training to clients or partners.
