Job Summary
We are seeking a Junior Safety Coordinator to support the company’s safety, security, and compliance programs across Canada. This entry-level role is designed for individuals beginning their career in occupational health and safety. The position will support safety inspections, documentation, training coordination, and incident reporting under the supervision of senior safety leadership.
This position works closely with U.S.-based safety leadership, and 50% of the annual performance evaluation is aligned with U.S. Safety leadership to ensure cross-border operational consistency.
Job Duties
- Assist in conducting routine warehouse safety inspections and audits (weekly/monthly) under supervision
- Support incident reporting by collecting data, documenting findings, and assisting in basic root cause analysis
- Help maintain safety records, compliance documentation, and audit preparation materials
- Assist in implementing safety training sessions and awareness campaigns (e.g., toolbox talks, safety week activities)
- Monitor and record safety KPIs, near-miss reports, and incident logs for review by senior staff
- Support warehouse onboarding processes by helping communicate safety procedures to new employees
- Assist in checking safety equipment (PPE, fire extinguishers, emergency equipment) for basic compliance
- Participate in safety meetings and contribute observations and feedback
- Support administrative and reporting tasks related to safety operations
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent education)
- Internship, co-op, or entry-level experience in safety, warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment preferred
- Basic understanding of workplace safety principles (OH&S, WHMIS preferred)
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (basic to intermediate level)
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Good communication skills in English and Korean (spoken and written) required
- Ability to work in warehouse/industrial environments
- Willingness to travel occasionally for training or site visits under supervision
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint) at a working level

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $54,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
