Introduction:
About the Role

Cater Care is seeking a proactive, safety-driven Regional SHE Coordinator to manage and support safety, health, and environmental initiatives across our designated regions. Reporting to the National SHE Manager, you will be a visible leader in our safety culture, establishing strong collaborative links with operational stakeholders and client WHS teams. You will provide support to operational stakeholders with their implementation of Cater Care’s SHE Management System while fostering a proactive safety mindset across all sites.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage comprehensive incident investigations, performing detailed severity assessments and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
Conduct thorough annual SHE Departmental Inspections and coordinate regional periodic reviews to ensure continuous improvement and site readiness.
Provide technical support, advice, and hands-on coaching to onsite teams, empowering them to manage safety effectively in their daily operations.
Maintain SHE database records and generate accurate performance reporting to provide data-driven insights to senior management.
Continually review and implement robust risk control strategies and site-specific operational risk assessments to mitigate workplace hazards.

Skills and Experiences:
Criteria

Formal WHS Certification (Cert IV of higher), recent graduates would be considered.
Experience within SHE related roles would be preferable, ideally within large-scale, multi-site organizations.
A current driver's license and the ability to travel regularly to provide essential onsite support for remote business units.
Previous experience working within Contract Catering or high-volume food service environments is highly desirable.
High level of proficiency in Google Suite and significant experience using safety management software/databases.
