We are currently growing and need a responsible individual to fill a sales/design associate position at our St. Catharines location. Join a local business with over 15 years in the community. If you have energy, drive and willingness to learn we have the support system to help you succeed!
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Welcoming customers with a smile, assisting with needs and creating an overall positive experience
- Assisting customers with design suggestions or helping customers match photos they bring in for inspiration
- Willingness to understand and develop product knowledge and effectively provide customers with information on product - tile, backsplash, flooring, bathroom vanities, faucets, etc.
- Accurately complete basic math calculations Ex. Calculating tax, applying square footage calculations to different scenarios
- Writing up invoices and taking payment
- Answering phones and assisting with inquiries
- Maintaining a clean and organized sales floor Ex. Dusting/wiping surfaces and displays, organizing sample boards, etc.
Qualifications
- Experience in customer service
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in basic numeracy
- Ability to work in a team environment
*Experience in customer service is a must. If you have a knack for interior design or kitchen & bathroom renovation experience we would love to hear from you!*
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
