Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stocking Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the organization and presentation of our retail space. This position involves stocking shelves, assisting customers, and ensuring that the store remains clean and inviting. A strong focus on customer service and teamwork is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with merchandise, ensuring products are displayed neatly and attractively.
• Assist customers in locating products and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including aisles, shelves, and storage areas.
• Perform regular inventory checks to ensure product availability.
• Collaborate with team members to execute merchandising strategies effectively.
• Handle cashier duties as needed, processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members to enhance the shopping experience.
• Lift up at least 50lbs
• Stand, walk, bend and reach in order to pick up merchandise off shelves and place the merchandise on shelves
• Be able to stand on a concrete sales floor for 8–10 hours a day

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Familiarity with merchandising techniques is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain orderly stock levels and store appearance.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely; certification is advantageous but not required at hiring (training will be provided).
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply for enhanced communication with diverse customers.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
