Founded in 1978, Silver Pail has grown to become the largest ice cream manufacturer in Ireland with many years’ experience in developing and producing high quality ice cream and frozen desserts for retail, food service and private label customers.

Recently acquired by Grupo Alacant, one of the top 3 retailer-brand ice cream players in Europe, Silver Pail Dairy, as part of its continued growth strategy, is expanding its commercial footprint into the UK market, creating new opportunities for scale, partnerships, and revenue growth.

Job Summary:

As part of the Sales Team, the Sales and Supply Chain Administrator will play a critical role in supporting the efficient and effective operation of both sales support functions and outbound supply chain processes. This role combines customer-facing sales administration with operational coordination, ensuring seamless order processing, high service levels, and strong customer relationships. You will be responsible for liaising with customers on day-to-day queries, supporting the sales team with administrative tasks, processing sales orders, coordinating logistics, maintaining accurate records, managing customer service levels and assisting with data analysis. Your attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams will be essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Process customer orders and engage with customers on related queries.

Coordinate logistics and ensure timely delivery of goods.

Organise inbound delivery of finished goods from our parent company in Spain, to required destination – Ireland, UK, etc.

Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, procurement, manufacturing, and logistics, to ensure smooth coordination and communication required for successful service levels.

Manage applications for product certification, customs clearance, advanced shipping notices and any required documentation relating to shipments.

Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, outgoing shipments, and other relevant supply chain data.

Liaise with customers on day-to-day queries including customer onboarding, account setup, portfolio queries, pricing related queries, sample requests, company announcements etc.

Assist in the preparation of sales reports, presentations, and performance dashboards.

Assist in the resolution of any supply chain-related issues, including shipping delays, quality concerns, and order discrepancies.

Coordinate and track new product launches, and customer-specific requirements, liaising with various stakeholders.

Maintain internal system with up-to-date customer specific pricing per SKU.

Maintain customer portals with stock availability data, new product information, along with other related data.

Coordinate the successful delivery of samples to new and existing customers.

Assist in data collection and analysis to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimise sales and supply chain processes.

Maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders including external storage partners, logistics partners & suppliers.

Skills and Qualifications:

Degree in business administration, supply chain management or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Proven experience in a sales support, supply chain or logistics role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent customer service skills, with a solution-based mindset.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyse data.

Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work well under pressure.

Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance, related to supply chain management (e.g., import/export requirements).

Proficiency in CRM Software and MS Office Suite (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €30,000.00-€40,000.00 per year
