Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for engaging with customers, assisting them with their purchases, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Your role will also involve maintaining product displays, managing inventory, and supporting store operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their shopping needs.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cashiering and cash handling.
• Demonstrate product knowledge through engaging product demos to enhance customer experience.
• Upsell products by understanding customer needs and recommending suitable items.
• Maintain merchandising standards by organizing product displays and ensuring shelves are stocked.
• Assist in inventory management, including stocking shelves and conducting regular stock checks.
• Supervise junior staff members when necessary to ensure smooth store operations.
• Exhibit strong phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries over the phone.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers to foster a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts is beneficial for effective inventory management.
• Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and team members.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as this can enhance customer interactions.
• Experience in merchandising and stocking is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 - $18.00 per hour
