We are currently recruiting for a Full time Sales Assistant for our store in Roscommon, Co. Roscommon.

Experience in a similar role is desired.

Applicants must be available to work flexible working hours which may include the following shifts 7am-3pm, 3pm-10pm Monday - Sunday.

Role Purpose:

Customer Care

· To serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner providing an exceptional standard of customer care.

· To communicate with the customers in an effective and welcoming manner.

Operational & Store Presentation

· To accurately compute sales prices, receive & process appropriate payment from the customers in line with the store policies.

· Assist customers in bagging purchases.

· Maintain a knowledge of current store sales & promotions.

· Answer customer queries about the store and its merchandise.

· To attend to customer complaints in a professional and pleasant way and refer to the store manager where appropriate.

· Performing tasks such as Counting money, balancing the cash drawer (Training Provided).

· Clean shelves, counters, floors, Kitchen Utensils / Machines and ensuring the store is always tidy and free from clutter. Recording cleaning and Temperature Check Sheets.

· Cleaning all areas of the store as directed by management.

· Maintain a clean and well organised back store area.

· To receive and check in stock deliveries.

· Packing shelves ensuring products are well presented.

· Rotating stock appropriately to minimise waste.

· To be vigilant at all times to prevent stock loss and waste.

· To take care for your health & safety and that of your colleagues and customers and take action to reduce risks and hazards.

General

Any other duties that may be assigned to you by management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €13.50-€15.00 per hour
