Sales Assistant/Deli Assistant

We are looking for new members of staff to join our counter/deli team in Flynn's XL shop Glanworth, shift times will vary between weekday mornings, evenings and weekends, the role will involve working in the deli taking orders and preparing sandwiches and also providing counter service to customers, you must provide excellent customer service at all times

The ideal candidate will have/be

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to engage with and prioritise customer needs
• Strong attention to detail, organised and flexible
• Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team
• Customer driven
• Previous customer service experience is an advantage but not essential

Main duties

• Deal with all customer queries efficiently
• Merchandise shelves, ensuring that all areas of the store are kept clean and presented to the highest standard
• Ensure deli area and equipment is maintained to the required level of hygiene ensuring cleaning is carried out as per food hygiene policy
• To rotate stock appropriately minimising waste

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From €14.15 per hour

Experience:

• Sales: 1 year (preferred)
