Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
• Conduct product demos and explain features to enhance customer understanding and interest
• Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities
• Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments
• Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure products are well-stocked and properly labeled
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and merchandising setup
• Use effective phone etiquette when communicating with customers or suppliers
• Support store cleanliness and organization to create an inviting shopping environment
• Stay informed about product features, industry trends, and promotional campaigns

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales, technology sales, or related fields is preferred
• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish, French) are a plus
• Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and merchandising strategies
• Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, cash handling, and basic math skills
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a busy setting
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to work well within a team while also being self-motivated and proactive
• Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for engaging with customers both in person and over the phone
• Knowledge of retail operations including inventory management, time management, and organizational skills
