The Sales Associate will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment, assisting customers with their needs, and driving sales through effective upselling and merchandising strategies.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their shopping experience
• Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs, offering product demos when appropriate
• Conduct technical sales by explaining product features and benefits clearly and confidently
• Perform merchandising duties to ensure attractive product displays and organized shelves
• Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling, sales processing, and returns
• Support with adding inventory via Shopify
• Manage cashiering duties including processing transactions efficiently and handling cash with integrity
• Upsell complementary products to maximize sales opportunities
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, store policies, and product inventory levels
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor at all times
• Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism using proper phone etiquette
• Manage time effectively to prioritize tasks during busy periods and ensure smooth store operations

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
• Previous experience in retail sales, merchandise management, or technical sales preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills necessary for transactions
• Ability to demonstrate products effectively through demos or explanations
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and time management capabilities
• Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of merchandising techniques and upselling strategies is advantageous
