Are you a motivated salesperson passionate about Ag, who loves getting out in front of customers, building relationships and chasing new opportunities?
We’re looking for an energetic Sales Cadet to join our Roseworthy branch — the largest branch in the Emmetts network — and start their career selling Small Ag equipment while building the skills, product knowledge and customer relationships to grow into Large Ag sales.
This is a hands-on, branch-based sales role for someone who enjoys helping customers, learning products, solving practical problems and building a long-term career with a leading John Deere dealership.

What You’ll Do
- Build and grow a strong sales pipeline across Small Ag equipment, including compact tractors, utility tractors, mowers and related machinery
- Support customers in branch, understand their needs and provide practical equipment solutions
- Build strong relationships with customers and support sales activity across the Roseworthy branch
- Learn the John Deere product range, precision ag technology and the broader agriculture industry from an experienced team
- Build your product knowledge and commercial confidence with a pathway toward Large Ag sales over time
- Achieve sales targets through proactive business development, strong follow-up and exceptional customer service
- Some sales experience, ideally with a strong appetite for business development, growth and results
- A proactive, competitive mindset with the confidence to start conversations and create opportunities
- An interest in agriculture, machinery, equipment or technology, with the drive to keep learning
- A genuine desire to build a long-term career in agricultural machinery sales
- Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to build rapport quickly
- Self-motivation, discipline and resilience to manage leads, follow up and keep moving
- Current driver’s license preferred, with the ability to support branch and local customer activity as required
