Position Summary
The Sales Coordinator will play a key role in supporting and driving sales growth by managing daily sales activities, coordinating customer onboarding, and ensuring smooth communication between our customers and internal teams. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, customer-focused professional with strong communication and organizational skills. The Sales Coordinator will maintain regular communication with new and existing customers, satisfying customer’s needs while maintaining gross profit margins. It is the responsibility of the Sales Coordinator to nurture relationships with existing customers to further develop sales, recognizing that providing expedient, quality service is crucial to successfully serving our current and future clients. This position will also assist the sales team with tasks such as sample requests, preparing quotes, sending emails, and following up tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting: Research and identify new business opportunities in the GTA and Southern Ontario cafe market, helping to build a strong pipeline for the sales team.
- Sales Day Planning: Coordinate sales routes and meetings for the sales team.
- Sales Visit Notes: Record key insights and outcomes from sales meetings (as per voice recordings from sales team) in the CRM system and schedule relevant follow up tasks.
- Sales Follow-Ups: Ensure timely follow-up after sales visits, confirming receipt of pricing/samples/etc, addressing questions, and gathering further requirements to move prospects through the sales funnel.
- Telemarketing: Conduct outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to promote products, identify sales opportunities, and schedule follow-up visits.
- Onboarding New Customers: Coordinate the customer onboarding process with the Customer Service team.
- Incoming Inquiries: Handle inbound inquiries from customers and prospects.
- Quoting: Prepare and send accurate quotes for products and services based on customer needs and pricing guidelines.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in a sales related role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office (Outlook, etc).
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset and high attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to visit customers when needed.
