Abbeylands Furniture Ltd, trading as Scatter Box, is an established Irish interiors brand known for its stylish collections of cushions, textiles, rugs, and home accessories. We supply retailers across Ireland, the UK, and international markets, combining design-led products with excellent customer service.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Sales & Customer Service Administrator to support our day-to-day sales operations and deliver outstanding service to our retail partners. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate order processing, maintaining ERP data, and supporting the sales team in achieving business targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Administration
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently from receipt through to dispatch.
- Maintain and update customer information, product data, and price lists within the ERP system, ensuring accuracy at all times.
- Assist in maintaining pricing structures, promotions, and product information in line with company updates.
- Liaise with warehouse and logistics teams to track orders and support timely deliveries.
- Prepare quotations, sales reports, and administrative support for the sales team.
- Respond to stock availability and product information queries from customers and agents.
- Support preparation for trade shows, launches, and seasonal sales campaigns as required.
Customer Service
- Act as a first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone and email.
- Provide professional, friendly, and solution-focused support to retailers and customers.
- Resolve issues relating to orders, deliveries, pricing, or product queries promptly.
- Manage returns, replacements, and after-sales service requests in line with company procedures.
- Build strong working relationships with customers to support retention and growth.
General Administration
- Maintain accurate documentation, communications, and customer records.
- Support internal teams with administrative tasks where required.
- Contribute to improvements in customer service processes and operational efficiency.
- Ensure all communications reflect the Scatter Box brand values and professionalism.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in sales administration, customer service, or office support.
- Strong organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience working with ERP/order processing systems and maintaining data accuracy.
- Confident communicator with a professional and friendly manner.
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- High level of written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable
- Experience in the home furnishings, interiors, textiles, or furniture industry.
- Experience supporting B2B customers or wholesale accounts.
