- Drive and close new business opportunities for the Malvern Panalytical product portfolio in Finland.
- Use value-based and consultative selling to identify customer needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Execute strategic and tactical sales activities to exceed territory sales targets.
- Build and manage a healthy, forward-looking pipeline through proactive prospecting and account development.
- Deliver impactful product presentations and support technical evaluations and demonstrations.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Operate independently in your territory while aligning with defined sales guidelines, pricing structures, and business priorities.
- Receive and act on strategic direction from the sales leadership, ensuring business-critical tasks are prioritized and executed accordingly.
- Accurately maintain customer data, opportunities, and forecasts in Salesforce CRM.
- Provide actionable feedback to internal stakeholders on market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity.
- Represent Malvern Panalytical with professionalism, ethics, and a strong customer-first approach.
- At least 2 years of experience in technical or scientific solution sales, ideally in laboratory instruments or equipment.
- Proven negotiation and closing skills, with a clear focus on delivering results.
- A go-getter mindset, able to spot opportunities and act on them with urgency and a strong sense of ownership.
- Strong problem-solving skills, able to resolve challenges independently while following internal policies and frameworks.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage your schedule, while also responding to and prioritizing directives from leadership.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Finnish and English.
- Organized, methodical, and attentive to detail in managing the full sales cycle.
- Willingness to travel within Finland and occasionally to other Nordic or European countries.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Experience with particle characterization, X-ray analysis, or other scientific instrumentation.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM.
- Knowledge of or experience with structured sales methodologies (e.g., solution selling, consultative selling, etc.).
- A collaborative mindset and adaptability when working across teams or cultures.
