Based on Nobel-Prize winning research, our systems enable critical infrastructure, telecom providers, and enterprise customers to protect their networks against both today’s threats and tomorrow’s quantum attacks.
We're expanding and are looking for a high-performing Sales Executive to help us drive revenue and close strategic deals mainly in Germany and Austria, with a strong focus on critical infrastructure clients.
Key ResponsibilitiesYou will take ownership of the full sales lifecycle — from identifying prospects to closing high-value enterprise and government contracts. As a core member of our growth team, you'll position our unique eQKD systems as must-have infrastructure for organizations seeking ultimate communication security.
This role has a strong focus on engaging customers in critical infrastructure sectors — including energy, utilities, public administration, transportation, and financial services.
Lead Generation & Outreach
- Proactively identify and engage prospects in critical infrastructure, telecom, government, and enterprise sectors
- Represent zerothird at conferences, trade shows, and networking events
- Continuously build and manage your own robust sales pipeline
Client Engagement & Solution Selling
- Understand each customer’s technical and strategic needs
- Confidently present zerothird’s eQKD offering to both C-level and technical stakeholders
- Tailor proposals and demos to convert interest into clear business value
- Build strategic partnerships with distributors, resellers and technology partners
Deal Management & Closure
- Drive opportunities through all deal stages — from qualification to signed contract
- Take a lead role in pricing, negotiation, and deal structuring
- Work closely with technical, legal, and operations teams to remove friction and close deals faster
- Own and exceed quarterly sales targets
- Min. 5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in enterprise tech, telecom, network- and cybersecurity
- Proven track record of closing deals and outperforming targets
- Strong communication and negotiation skills in both German and English
- Hunter mentality: self-driven, persistent, and highly organized
- Ability to understand and pitch technical products to business decision-makers
- Experience selling to critical infrastructure or regulated industries is a strong plus
- Willingness to travel regularly within Germany and Austria

The minimum gross salary for this position is € 4.359,91 per month (full-time basis) in accordance with the collective agreement. However, there is a willingness to overpay in line with the market, depending on experience and qualifications.
