Caldic is on a fast-paced growth journey, expanding its presence in the Eastern European food ingredients market. As Sales Manager for the Food Segment, you will play a pivotal role in driving this expansion, establishing Caldic as a trusted partner in Poland and Eastern Europe. This entrepreneurial role demands a seasoned sales professional with deep industry knowledge, an extensive network, and the ability to deliver results quickly.
You will report directly to the Business Development Director Food and collaborate closely with Caldic’s cross-European product managers to leverage the full potential of our product portfolio. Success in this role will unlock significant growth opportunities within our rapidly evolving organization.
Location: Poland (preferred), with travel across Eastern Europe, including Slovakia, Serbia, Hungary, Romania, the Baltics, and the Czech Republic.
About the Role
As Sales Manager for the Food Segment, you will be at the forefront of Caldic’s growth in Eastern Europe. Reporting directly to the Business Development Director Food Europe, you will develop and execute sales strategies, build lasting customer relationships, and collaborate with Caldic’s product managers across Europe. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape Caldic’s future in the region while advancing your career in a high-growth organization.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue in Poland and Eastern Europe, focusing on key market opportunities and quick results.- Customer Acquisition: Rapidly expand the customer base by leveraging Caldic’s established product and solution portfolio, including proprietary brands and principal products.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain high-value, long-term partnerships with customers, positioning Caldic as their preferred supplier.
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to refine strategies and capture new opportunities.
- Collaboration: Work with Caldic’s product managers across Europe to align on product positioning, solutions, and support tailored to customer requirements.
- Reporting: Maintain close communication with the Business Development Director Food, providing regular updates on progress, challenges, and market insights.

- At least 10 years of proven sales experience in the food ingredients industry, with a focus on Poland and working knowledge of markets across Eastern Europe.
- Strong industry knowledge and a well-established network in the region.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to achieve quick and impactful results.
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Polish required.
