About the Role
RGB Hospitality is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Sales Manager to join the leadership team at the Residence Inn Corpus Christi Downtown. This role is responsible for generating top-line revenue through proactive sales efforts, local account development, and community engagement, with a strong focus on extended-stay and negotiated business.
This is a hands-on role ideal for a sales professional who enjoys being in the market, building partnerships, and seeing the direct impact of their efforts on hotel performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively solicit and secure new business across corporate, extended stay, negotiated, and local accounts
- Maintain and grow existing accounts through consistent relationship management and follow-up
- Conduct outside sales calls, site visits, hotel tours, and client presentations
- Work closely with the General Manager and Revenue Management to align pricing, strategy, and demand
- Achieve monthly and annual sales goals related to room nights, revenue, and market penetration
- Track all sales activity accurately in Marriott systems (CI/TY, Salesforce, etc.)
- Participate in local networking events, chambers, and community organizations to increase hotel visibility
- Assist with group leads, RFP responses, and contract negotiations as needed
- Support hotel initiatives that drive brand awareness and guest loyalty
What We’re Looking For
- Prior hotel sales experience preferred (Marriott brand experience a plus)
- Strong understanding of extended-stay demand drivers
- Proven ability to prospect, close, and manage accounts independently
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and with a team
- Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Local market knowledge of Corpus Christi is strongly preferred
