Celtic Vacations is a growing, Irish-owned tour operator delivering private driver-guided and self-drive travel packages throughout Ireland and Scotland. With a strong client base across North America, we pride ourselves on offering personalised, high-quality travel experiences rooted in local knowledge and cultural authenticity.

We are expanding our team with the opening of our new office in Kilkenny City and the launch of a dedicated Kilkenny day tour division. We are now inviting applications for a dynamic Sales, Marketing & Administration position.

About the Role

This is a multi-faceted position offering the right candidate an opportunity to contribute across several areas of the business. The role will be tailored to match the skills and interests of the successful applicant and will suit someone either experienced in or passionate about Irish tourism.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting inbound sales, both online and face-to-face

Handling customer service queries by phone and email

Assisting with itinerary planning, bookings, and CRM/database management

Helping deliver marketing content and promotional campaigns

Supporting the growth and delivery of our Kilkenny day tours

Assisting with tour logistics, transport schedules, and supplier coordination

Representing the company at trade events, locally and internationally

Essential Requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and general computer literacy

Comfortable working with CRM systems and booking engines (training provided)

A confident communicator, both in person and over the phone

Demonstrated organisational skills and a solutions-focused approach

General knowledge of Kilkenny and the Irish tourism landscape

Ability to work on-site in Kilkenny City with access to transport

Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and eager to learn

Desirable Experience

Background in tourism, hospitality, travel sales, or customer service

Familiarity with Irish and Scottish travel products, routes, and experiences

Experience in event logistics, transport/fleet coordination, or hotel liaison

Interest in developing locally based tour products and storytelling-based experiences
