Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our growing team. This is a classic field sales role focused on acquiring new clients through proactive outreach, including door-to-door (cold calling/knocking on doors), site visits, networking, and building long-term relationships. You will sell our full range of fire safety products and services to commercial, industrial, retail, hospitality, and property management clients. The position combines strong sales skills with the ability to understand and explain basic technical aspects of fire protection systems. High earners are rewarded generously through uncapped commission.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively source and acquire new business through door-to-door prospecting, cold calling, site visits, and territory development. Identify potential clients (businesses, building owners, facilities managers, contractors) and conduct needs assessments for fire safety requirements. Present and demonstrate our fire alarm, suppression, emergency lighting, and other safety solutions, explaining benefits and compliance value. Prepare quotes, proposals, and contracts tailored to client needs. Build and maintain a pipeline of prospects and achieve/exceed monthly and annual sales targets. Work closely with our technical/installation teams to ensure smooth project handovers. Stay informed on fire safety regulations (e.g., Irish Building Regulations, NSAI standards) and industry trends to position solutions effectively. Maintain accurate records of sales activities in our CRM system. Attend industry events, networking opportunities, and occasional trade shows.

Requirements

Proven sales experience (ideally 1–3+ years), preferably in B2B field sales or door-to-door prospecting. Comfortable with high-volume cold outreach and "knocking on doors" to generate leads. Basic technical aptitude or willingness to learn about fire safety systems (training provided; no advanced engineering qualification required). Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build trust quickly. Self-motivated, resilient, and target-driven with a hunter mentality. Full clean driving licence and access to a car or ability to drive one of our vans (travel within assigned territory required). Right to work in Ireland.

Desirable

Previous experience in fire safety, security systems, facilities services, construction, or related industries. Fire alarm, emergency light, fire extinguisher, fire door, AOV, smoke control, dry riser, fire hydrant, fire blanket, Firetrace, Ansul, Inert gas FM200 Novec & Watermist fire suppression and fire risk assessment experience an asset.
